Frequently Asked Questions

1. What services do you offer as an event planner in Santorini?

We specialise in wedding proposals, romantic surprises, honeymoon experiences, anniversary celebrations, and birthday setups. Every event is planned from start to finish, including venue selection, decoration design, photography, and coordination on the day.

We work across the island and can set up at most caldera hotels, private villas, and dedicated venues. We have established relationships with specific locations including St. Irene Chapel and Athermi Suites, which offer complete privacy and outstanding caldera views.

Yes. We discuss the location with you as part of the planning process. We can advise on the best spots based on your dates, the time of year, privacy requirements, and what kind of setup you have in mind. Read our full guide to the best proposal spots in Santorini to understand the options before we speak.

For peak season dates in July and August, we recommend booking four to six months in advance. Private venues with sunset availability fill quickly. For shoulder season dates in May, June, September, and October, two to three months is usually sufficient. Request a quote as early as possible to secure your preferred date.

May is the best overall month: warm weather, no Meltemi wind, manageable crowds, and long golden evenings. June and September are excellent alternatives. July and August are workable but require specific planning around the wind and the crowds. April is ideal for maximum quiet and the lowest prices. Read our full guides to Santorini in May and Santorini in April for complete monthly detail, or see our weather guide by season for every month of the year.

We set up while your partner is occupied elsewhere, typically during a meal, a walk, or a spa visit. Setup time depends on the complexity of the arrangement but is usually between 30 and 90 minutes. We coordinate the timing with you so the logistics are invisible on the day. For more on how to manage the surprise element, read our complete proposal planning guide.

Golden hour, the 45 to 60 minutes before sunset, gives you the warmest light and is slightly less crowded than the sunset peak itself. In summer this means between 7:15 and 8pm. Early morning before 8am is a completely different option: Oia is entirely quiet and the light is soft and cool. We advise on timing based on your specific date and location. See our proposal planning guide for full timing detail.

This depends on the package. Our setups typically include rose arrangements, candles, a bouquet, champagne, and a personalised element such as a MARRY ME sign or a heart of love structure. Photography is included in most packages. We can also arrange fireworks, live music, and a private dinner to follow. See our wedding proposal packages for a full breakdown of what each includes.

Yes. Ground fireworks are available as part of several of our packages and can be added to others. We coordinate the timing so they fire at the right moment without any involvement from you on the day. See our Luxury Proposal and Dream Proposal packages which include fireworks as standard.

Yes. A violinist or acoustic musician can be arranged as part of the setup. This is popular for proposals at St. Irene Chapel and Athermi Suites where the setting carries the sound beautifully. Get in touch to add this to your arrangement.

The Meltemi is a northerly wind that blows from June through September and can be strong in July and August. We adapt setups for wind conditions: heavier floral structures instead of scattered petals, secured candle arrangements, and sheltered positioning within the venue. In May there is no Meltemi, which is one of the reasons we recommend it for full setups. Read more in our proposal planning guide and our Santorini in May guide.

Yes. We can coordinate a private dinner at a caldera restaurant as part of the overall arrangement. Our Heart of Love with Dinner package combines the proposal setup with a caldera restaurant booking. We recommend arranging dinner as part of the proposal plan rather than leaving it to chance on the evening.

Yes, photography is included in most of our packages. Our photographers are specialists in proposal photography, which requires different skills from standard couple photography. They position themselves in advance and capture the moment without being visible to your partner. See our photo gallery for examples of how the moments are captured.

Yes. Video is available as an add-on or as part of specific packages. We create cinematic short-form videos that capture the full sequence of the moment. See our video gallery for examples.

Our packages start from entry-level terrace setups and go up to full private venue arrangements with roses, candles, fireworks, photography, and a private dinner. We do not publish fixed prices because every proposal is built around the specific couple, date, and location. Fill in the quote form and we will come back to you with options that match your vision and budget.

Yes. A deposit of 20% of the total amount is required to confirm your date and begin planning. The remaining balance is due before the event. We confirm the full payment structure when we send your quote. Contact us if you have questions about the payment process.

We have a range of packages that serve as starting points, but everything can be adjusted. Most couples customise their package by adding or removing elements. We also build fully custom arrangements from scratch for couples with a specific vision. See our full packages overview to compare options.
